We are happy to announce that the first EPL Magazine for The Autumn - Winter 2010/2011 is officially released! This is the first time an Etsy Street Team organizes such an event and we are really proud to see our groundbreaking idea be coming reality after hard work and dedication.

We would like to thank all of you for participating and embracing this great effort of the EPL Team to promote the Etsy community and the love for handmade in the best possible way.
The Etsy Promo Love Team is proud to present the release of its very first official Magazine, that aims to the the promotion of Etsy as an online marketplace for unique handmade items.
The issue is filled with beautiful creations from talented Etsy artists and enchanced with features such as interesting tips, “how to” techniques, useful links, interviews and much more!
As the basic idea behind the formation of our group is mutual support, we would like to encourage our members to participate by promoting the Team. This can be achieved by being active on our Facebook page, but also through any kind of promotion that could help to spread the word. Therefore, the criteria according to which the second issue of the magazine will be created will be according to those factors.

I made them from my handpainted silk in tender and delicate tea rose color! Pearls and copper findings give more vintage effect:

This beautiful and soft scarf was made from superfine merino wool and lace and finally embellished with handmade flower from merino wool, metal and cat's eye...

The quality of the wool is very important - it gives an excellent fineness to the scarf! Here you can see fine and beautiful ruffles.

Felted scarf-collar with vintage lace. What it is made of?

I made this scarf-collar using Nuno felt technique from fine merino wool, silk and vintage lace. I have added silk slivers for special effects. The lace, silk and merino wool are dyed with onion skins, which give to the fibers a brilliant golden color.

Here is my heritage - ancient french lace after dyeing with onion skins:

Each cotton lace got it's own shade of the color. Isn't it beautiful?

After felting you have only to embellish your creation with vintage buttons and organza ribbon!
